In September 2026, I travelled to Malawi to participate in an internal team workshop for the Geo-AI and Citizen Science-Powered Soybean Rust Surveillance and Forecasting Project. The workshop brought project partners together to align activities and strengthen collaboration in addressing soybean rust.
My Journey as a Principal Investigator: 2020 – Present
Since completing my PhD in 2020, I have been reflecting on the journey that has followed. What started as a transition into independent research has grown into an opportunity to lead and contribute to impactful work.
