It was a great privilege to facilitate the AI Hackathon at Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology, where innovation, talent, and practical problem-solving came together.
The event created a dynamic space for collaboration and learning, bringing together participants who were eager to turn ideas into real solutions. It was inspiring to see how teams approached challenges, combining creativity with technical skills.
The hackathon was organized through the joint efforts of Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority, Universal Communications Service Access Fund, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, and ICT Commission, highlighting the importance of collaboration in driving innovation.
I was especially glad to connect with the next generation of women in tech, sharing experiences and encouraging more participation in the field. Moments like these are a reminder of the potential that exists when young talent is given the space and support to grow.
