I had a great time collaborating with AI Community Tanzania to develop the AI Readiness Assessment Report, funded by UNESCO. This project brought together ideas, expertise, and a shared vision for the future of AI in our country.
Working on this report was a valuable experience. It gave us the chance to assess where we stand as a country in terms of AI adoption, policy, and innovation, while also identifying areas that need more attention.
One thing stood out clearly: building inclusive and responsible AI systems requires collaboration across sectors. From researchers to policymakers, everyone has a role to play in shaping how AI benefits society.
This report marks an important step forward for Tanzania as we continue to explore the potential of AI in a way that is ethical, inclusive, and impactful.
