DSA Research Assistant Grant
We are very grateful to have received DSA research assistant grant at NM-AIST. The programme will support Masters students to conduct research on data driven solutions in the field of data science and machine learning. Again, we extend our sincere appreciation to DSA for awarding us this research grant.
AI4D Post-doctoral Research Fellows
We are very delighted to have received AI4D Post-doctoral researchers’ grant in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in Sub-Saharan Africa. The programme will be very useful particularly in building the capacity for AI research and training at NM-AIST. Again, we extend our sincere appreciation to the African Center for Technology Studies (ACTS) for awarding us this scholarship.

WIMA STEM Award
On 24th April 2021, I attended an annual event organized by Women in Management Africa (WIMA). The event’s main purpose was to celebrate, honor and award outstanding leadership, inspiration, vision and innovation, to individuals (women) and organizations that played a big role in advancing women to the forefront of the economy. The guest of honor for this annual event was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NMB Bank Plc, Ms. Ruth Zaipuna; and the special guest was the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Prof. Joyce Ndalichako.
